The aim of the A Licence program is to educate and develop coaches to be leaders in the technical/tactical development of soccer in Canada. Candidates will be trained in the practical and theoretical developments in modern soccer, so that they may devise, organize, conduct and evaluate coaching sessions in basic and advanced skills, tactics, strategies and systems of play. Candidates will also better understand and employ the complimentary managerial, medical and coach-related aspects, appropriate to the role of the coach at all levels of soccer. This is a pass/fail course.
Pre-Requisites: Successful completion of the B Licence Part 2; Make Ethical Decisions training & evaluation.
Duration: Approximately 90 hours over several sessions.
Fee: Determined based on location and delivery dates.
